SANDRA TEPER - 'BULIMIA - INVISIBLE DEATH'

This work is a campaign which highlights bulimia - a dangerous eating disorder and mental health condition. As a young person constantly bombarded by the glorification of thinness and gym trends in advertisement, traditional media and social media, Sandra wanted to show how we are sucked into our own body images.

This series aims to explore the invisible side effects of bulimia. By incorporating statistics and factual statements, it highlights bulimia as an illness and how it has increased over the past few years.  Sandra hopes that her series will encourage those who suffer from eating disorders to speak out and seek professional help. The journey towards recovery is challenging and difficult but there is help out there.
